3 Sunflowers

I would like to share my 3 different patterns of Sunflower motifs.

Sunflower01

Center: With brown yarn
Make Magic Ring (Adjustable Ring)

Round1: Ch 1, sc 8 into the ring (8 sts), sl to fist sc.
Round2: Ch 1, sc 2 into each st around (16 sts), sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Petals: With yellow yarn

Sunflower #1:
Round 3: Attach yellow yarn to any of the sc spaces and ch 1, sc, *ch 6, dc in the 3rd ch from hook, hdc in next st, sc in next st, sl st in last st, sl st in next sc space*. Repeat*. Sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Sunflower #2:
Round 3: Attach yellow yarn to any of the sc spaces, ch 1, sc *ch 10, sl st in the sc you just made.(like making a big picot). 1sc in the next st*. Repeat *. Sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Sunflower #3:
Round 3: Attach yellow yarn to any of the sc spaces, *ch3, tr cl, ch3, sl st in same st. Skip sc. Sl st in next sc. Repeat*. Sl st to first st. Fasten off. (revised 3/3/2022)

Treble crochet cluster (tr cl):  yo 2 times, insert hook in spacified st, yo, pull lp through, (yo, pull through 2 lps on hook) 2 times.  Yo 2 times, insert hook in same st, yo, pull lp through, (yo, pull through 2 lps on hook) 2 times; yo, pull through all 3  lps on hook.

  1. On Sunflower #3 how do you get from one stitch to the next? After slip stitching down my ch2 next to the tc cl, I tried slip stitching to the stitch we next work in, but that leaves lines on the work. How did you get your yarn over that skipped stitch and worked into the next one so it was set up to do your ch2?
